The Monaro Car Club of WA is proud to be hosting the “ Classic and Awesome Rides Show” with major sponsors “Shannons” and the “Auto Trader Magazine”. This car show is commonly referred to as “CARS” which was held on Sunday the 17 th of October 2010 at the Trinity Playing Fields, Corner of Manning and Elderfield Roads.

The “ Classic and Awesome Rides Show” is an “Open” Car Show to all makes and models and the vehicles that “CARS” attracts are Australian and American Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Vintage, Classics, Exotics, Commercials, Performance and even Race Cars. 

Last year's inaugural “ Classic and Awesome Rides Show” attracted over 200 vehicles on display and was well supported by several car clubs.

Car shows are held to celebrate the importance of the automobile and how in just over a century of motoring they have evolved to improve our daily lives. With this in mind the “ Classic and Awesome Rides Show” has been designed to attract automobiles from all manufacturers and to build “CARS” into a family car show with activities for all ages.

This year's show will see the inclusion of a “Vendors Stores Alley” which provides the entrant and general public the opportunity to talk to and or purchase goods from some of the states' leading automotive suppliers and service providers. 

All of the “ Classic and Awesome Rides Show” Sponsors will be on hand and welcome the opportunity to talk directly to you about the services that they can provide.

Food is always an important part of any Car Show and we have worked with our Food Vendors to ensure that Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Bratwursts, Soft Drink, Water, Ice Creams, Pop Corn, Fairy Floss and Piping Hot Coffee etc will be available on the day for you to purchase. If you are an entrant you can even get a cooked breakfast as the vendors will be at the ground nice and early so that you can purchase a cooked breakfast.

The “T-Shirt Express” vendor will also be at the show and they are one of Australia 's leading suppliers of printed “T-Shirts”. No matter what brand you support, they will have something available for you to select from at a very reasonable price.

The kids have not been forgotten and this year there will be a lot more fun activities than at last year's inaugural car show for them to participate in which makes “CARS” a truly family fun day out type of event. There will be a Bouncy Castle , Motorised Miniature Cars (in a controlled course), Face Painting and Balloon Twisting.

The Monaro Car Club of WA has secured a bigger venue then last year's car show with more shade (trees) at the request of last year's entrants, plus the venue has traffic lights at the intersection of Manning and Elderfield Road , Waterford , which provides safer entry and exit to the car show for entrants and the general public.
